George Hume Cofer, Jr. is Executive Director of the Hill Country Conservancy, a nonprofit land trust that marshals public and private resources to preserve the natural areas and scenic vistas, aquifers and springs, rivers and streams, working farms and ranches, and the rural heritage of the Central Texas Hill Country for people to enjoy and cherish for generations to come.
George is a sixth-generation Austinite and fifth-generation Texas rancher. His love of the great outdoors and conservation of the natural environment come from being blessed by the opportunity to spend his childhood summers on a working cattle ranch along the Frio River in Uvalde County and from his outdoor experiences as an Eagle Scout.
Adrienne Longenecker, CFRE is a long-time Austinite fiercely committed to ensuring a high quality of life for all of our community. Adrienne received a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin and she earned the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential in 2009. CFRE is an internationally recognized title indicating successful career advancement, professional knowledge and ethical leadership within the profession.
Adrienne has served on multiple non-profit boards including the Society for Marketing Professional Services, Leadership Austin and the Greater Austin Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Adrienne presents regularly throughout Texas, sharing her experiences to help others build fund development, business development and marketing strategies for complex non-profit organizations.
